POS Sharing Integrates Cashback, Enabling Payments and Cash Withdrawals in a Single Transaction
SIBS Romania is expanding the capabilities of its POS Sharing solution with the integration of Cashback, allowing consumers to pay for their purchases and withdraw cash within the same transaction, directly at the point of sale.
Developed and launched by SIBS Romania ten years ago, POS Sharing is a multi-banking payment acceptance platform that enables multiple banks to be supported through the same payment infrastructure. The solution continues to evolve through the addition of new capabilities and its expansion into different payment environments.
Following the launch of POS Sharing for unattended environments and its integration with SoftPOS, extending shared payment acceptance to self-service equipment and mobile devices, the new Cashback functionality introduces additional benefits for both merchants and consumers. It allows customers to make a purchase and withdraw cash as part of the same transaction, directly at the point of sale.
The functionality has successfully completed end-to-end testing and is now progressing towards production deployment.
Ten years after its launch, POS Sharing continues to evolve by expanding its capabilities and diversifying its services, helping simplify payment acceptance and create value for both merchants and consumers.
